2018 District Press Release

23 students from Mounds View participated in the annual Minnesota DECA District 4 Career Development Conference in Blaine, January 28, 2018. 200 students from Mounds View, Irondale, Forest Lake, Fridley, Spring Lake Park, Totino Grace, North Branch, and Chisago Lakes competed in over 50 events, focused in the areas of entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality, marketing and other related fields. The competitions are designed to simulate real-life business scenarios and test students’ academic understanding and skills development. District winners put their talents to the test during the State Career Development Conference in Minneapolis and upon qualifying further, at the National Conference in Atlanta,Georgia.
