Join the local community as we support a global cause.

Mounds View High School DECA and H2O for Life Club have partnered to host a community Walk for Water to raise awareness about the Global Water Crisis and fund a water project for a school in need.

Join us on Saturday, May 11 from 12-3 PM at the Mounds View High School Track for an afternoon of community bonding, local snacks, and a group walk! Participants are challenged to carry water as they walk in order to simulate the water collection process that many people worldwide have to do through every day. Come to our walk for a chance to win gift cards and prizes from Punch Pizza, Starbucks, Baker's Square, Jersey Mike's and more!

Register for the Walk
Many women and children in the developing world walk an average of 3.7 miles everyday to find water.
Dirty water leads to diseases including Typhoid, Cholera, and Dysentery.
Young children have no choice but to skip school to collect water.

There is a global water crisis.

1 in 3 schools worldwide have no access to clean water

A child dies every 20 seconds due to lack of access to clean water

Women and children worldwide spend 200 million hours each day collecting drinking water. Children who spend their day collecting water instead of going to school are unable to get a proper education and create a better future for themselves.

Mena Primary School

Mena Primary School is located on the Lobule Refugee Camp in Koboko, Uganda. The 763 students that attend this school currently have no access to clean water.
All money raised during this campaign will go to H2o For Life where it will be used to build a water well for this school.
